# LLMind Namespace 1.0

Stable XMP namespace · URI: `https://llmind.org/ns/1.0/`

## Purpose

This URI is the stable XMP namespace for the LLM-Ready File Specification v1.x. Files enriched by [LLMind](https://github.com/dmitryrollins/LLMind) and compatible tools declare this namespace in their XMP payload.

This page serves both humans (with this explainer) and machines (XMP readers that dereference the URI to discover metadata about the namespace).

## Stability promise

This namespace is **stable**. Fields will only be added, never removed or renamed, for the lifetime of v1.x. Breaking changes will move to `https://llmind.org/ns/2.0/`.

## Typical usage in XMP

```
<rdf:Description rdf:about=""
  xmlns:llmind="https://llmind.org/ns/1.0/"
  llmind:version="1"
  llmind:checksum="…"
  llmind:signature="…"
  llmind:key_id="…">
  <llmind:text>Extracted text…</llmind:text>
  <llmind:description>Visual or audio description…</llmind:description>
  <llmind:structure>{"type":"document","nodes":[…]}</llmind:structure>
</rdf:Description>
```

## Fields (v0.1 draft — full reference in v1.0)

-   `llmind:version` — integer, currently `1`
-   `llmind:checksum` — SHA-256 of the file bytes
-   `llmind:signature` — HMAC-SHA256 of the layer payload
- `llmind:key_id` — identifier of the creation key
-   `llmind:text` — full extracted text
-   `llmind:description` — natural-language summary
-   `llmind:structure` — JSON describing document structure
-   `llmind:media_type` — `"image"`, `"document"`, `"audio"`
-   `llmind:duration_seconds` — audio only
- `llmind:segments` — audio only, timestamped transcript segments

See the full [LRFS](https://llmind.org/glossary/lrfs/) for normative definitions.

## Versioning

- **v1.0** (this namespace): stable once LRFS v1.0 releases in Sprint 3
- **v2.0** (hypothetical future): only if breaking changes become necessary; 1.0 keeps working forever
